(From left) I. Jerome Flance, M.D., clinical professor of medicine, William A. Peck, M.D., dean of the medical school and executive vice chancellor for medical affairs, and city resident Joyce Littlefield celebrate the grand opening of the McCormack House, an affordable assisted-living facility in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood. McCormack Baron developed the $9.3 million facility with the support of Washington University Medical Center and neighborhood stakeholders. The facility, which sits on the corner of Manchester Road and Kingshighway Boulevard, offers 89 affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments for seniors. The McCormack House serves as yet another successful example of the University’s longtime efforts to revitalize the city neighborhood.
