Francis Slay (left), mayor of St. Louis, speaks with Shanti K. Khinduka, Ph.D., dean of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work and the George Warren Brown Distinguished University Professor, before Slay delivered the lecture, “Serving Our Cities: The Need for Public-Private Partnership,” recently in Brown Hall Lounge. Slay’s address was part of the GWB spring lecture series, which addresses a broad spectrum of social issues from the working poor to welfare reform.
