Historic Francis Field, now 100 years old, is undergoing its first major renovation in nearly 20 years. The entire stadium will be resurfaced with the pouring of new concrete on top of the existing structure, improving its appearance. The stadium will be made accessible to the disabled with the addition of two ramps and a new seating area, and the press box will be expanded and will have its roof repaired. Construction began April 14 and is scheduled for completion by Aug. 15.
