The following incidents were reported to University Police Aug. 27-Sept. 1. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. Aug. 27

12:03 p.m. — The Office of Residential Life reported a furniture set taken from Millbrook Apartments No. 3. The set included an overstuffed couch, two overstuffed chairs, a coffee table and an end table. The theft occurred sometime prior to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23. Total loss is estimated at $1,950.

2:42 p.m. — A student reported the theft of money and a phone card from his wallet, which had been left unattended at the Stix International House.

Aug. 28

11:50 a.m. — A student reported that her wallet was taken from her backpack in Mallinckrodt Student Center between 3-4 p.m. Aug. 27. Cash and an identification card were taken. Total loss is estimated at $40.

Aug. 30

5:37 p.m. — A stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked outside of Mallinckrodt Student Center. Entry to the vehicle was made by breaking the front window.

Additionally, University Police responded to three reports of larceny and two auto accidents.
