The Washington University School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity Programs will present its annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration lecture at 4 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Eric P. Newman Education Center.
Angela E. Oh, internationally recognized author, teacher and public lecturer, will speak. Appointed by President Bill Clinton in June 1997 to the President’s Initiative on Race, Oh was part of a seven-member advisory board to the president in an effort directed at creating a national dialogue and examination of race relations in the United States.
