Parking services

Danforth Campus Transportation Services and Washington University Police Department will offer extended escort service during reading and finals weeks to accommodate students who stay late on campus to study. Extended escorts will be available each night from 2-4 a.m. Dec. 11-20. Also during those dates, the circulator will run its regular route until 4 a.m.

Winter break service for the circulator will begin Dec. 23. Break schedules can be found at http://www.parking.wustl.edu/campus_circulator_072007.pdf. The medical escort service does not operate during break periods. Academic service will return Jan. 14, 2008. There will be no circulator service at all on University holidays (Dec. 25, Jan. 1 and Jan. 21).

Metro routes operate according to their regular published schedule regardless of WUSTL’s class schedule, but will operate Sunday schedules on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. All Metro buses and trains will operate on a normal weekday schedule on Jan. 21. Metro schedules can be found on its Web site at www.metrostlouis.org.

The student Fall U-Pass expires Dec. 31, 2007, and will not be accepted as fare on the bus or train after that date. For those who haven’t already done so, renewal for the Spring 2008 U-Pass can be done online at http://www.parking.wustl.edu/upass.htm.

Parking Services would also like to remind Danforth Campus students who live off campus that they can leave their cars parked on campus during winter break, but certain rules apply. They must follow posted guidelines (http://www.parking.wustl.edu/storage.htm) to avoid receiving tickets during that period.
