The event, hosted by the St. Louis Dream Keepers and centered around the 40th anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr., began with a two-minute moment of silence in honor of King. Following the tribute, attendees enjoyed a variety of festivities. The St. Louis Dream Keepers is a coalition of students and young professionals working for racial harmony and economic justice within the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. Krauss served as one of the event organizers.
