David A. Peters, Ph.D., the McDonnell Douglas Professor of Engineering in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Structural Engineering, has been awarded the Alexander A. Nikolsky Honorary Lectureship by the American Helicopter Society (AHS) International, the world’s premier professional vertical flight society. The lecture is scheduled for 4 p.m. April 29 during the AHS 64th Annual Forum, which will be held at the Palais des congres in Montreal. The lectureship is awarded to “an individual who reflects the highest ideals, goals and achievements in the field of helicopter and V/STOL (vertical, short takeoff and landing) aircraft engineering and development.”
