The age of science

Nearly 100 scholars from 70 institutions in Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and the United States gathered March 14-15 at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center for the annual meeting of the Consortium of Humanities Centers and Institutes. The meeting — which was hosted by the Center for the Humanities in Arts & Sciences and carried a theme of “The Humanities in an Age of Science” — featured remarks by Robert E. Thach, Ph.D. (front), dean of the graduate school of Arts & Sciences, and other faculty presenters, as well as workshops designed for directors of humanities centers and institutes.
