The following incidents were reported to University Police Aug. 26-Sept. 1. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. Aug. 26

2:43 p.m. — A person reported computer equipment had been stolen from Anheuser-Busch Hall.

Aug. 27

11:49 a.m. — A person reported that his helmet had been stolen from his motorcycle overnight.

Aug. 29

11:46 a.m. — A student’s backpack containing a purse and a cell phone was stolen from Olin Library.

1:16 p.m. — A person reported that a laptop computer had been stolen from Anheuser-Busch Hall.

7:08 p.m. — Three students reported their wallets had been stolen from a bench area next to the basketball court on the South 40.

Sept. 1

1:33 a.m. — Security reported a large fight during an event at the Mallinckrodt Student Center.

10:44 a.m. — A bicycle seat was reported stolen from outside of Monsanto Laboratory.

7:48 p.m. — A student reported that her and her roommate’s laptop computers had been stolen from their room in Lopata House.

Additionally, University police also responded to three accidental injuries, two sick cases, one crisis intervention, one noise complaint, one report of property damage and one report of trespassing.
