Preparations proceed for Oct. 2 vice presidential debate

WHO: Joani Wardwell, media director for the Commission on Presidential Debates; Rob Wild, chair of Washington University’s Vice Presidential Debate Steering Committee; and Steve Givens, vice-chair of the Vice Presidential Debate Steering Committee.

WHAT: Media briefing to discuss logistical issues surrounding coverage of the vice presidential debate Oct. 2.

WHERE: Washington University’s Athletic Complex, located near the intersection of Forsyth and Big Bend boulevards. Reserved media parking will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in Millbrook Garage, located at the intersection of Forest Park Parkway and Throop Drive. WHEN: 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29

IMPORTANT: An ID from your media organization will be required to enter the Athletic Complex. Media who applied for Commission on Presidential Debates credentials prior to the August 15 deadline can pick them up after the briefing, beginning at 2 p.m. on the third floor of the Laboratory Sciences Building, located across from Millbrook Garage.
