Wrighton hosted the luncheon to introduce women new to WUSTL to the Woman’s Club. The Woman’s Club, founded in 1910 by faculty wives, offers its members opportunities to form friendships and grow intellectually through luncheons, lectures, tours and women’s programs. The club also funds scholarships for deserving female WUSTL students. The club is open to women who are faculty or staff; wives or widows of faculty or staff; alumnae or spouses of alumni; or women sponsored by a member.
