Web users can now have the latest medical news stories and radio releases from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis sent straight to their desktop via RSS.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it is a popular way for web users to keep track of updates to their favorite web sites.
The School of Medicine offers two free and easy RSS feeds for visitors, keeping them instantly up-to-date with all news releases and radio service stories. All that’s required is any RSS feed reader. Most web browsers come with some sort of RSS already built in these days, but you can also download a free RSS reader by clicking on one of the links to the right.
To add an RSS feed, simply click on the RSS link on either page: Medical News Releases or BioMed Radio. Your RSS reader will prompt you with an easy option for subscribing to the feed. BioMed Radio is also available as an iTunes podcast.
