Bon Appétit Management Company, the University’s dining services vendor, will be offering free food samples from local farmers from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 25 in Room 276 of the Danforth University Center.
Bon Appétit has been recognized for its practices regarding use of locally grown food, cage-free eggs and sustainable seafood.
Fedele Bauccio, the company’s CEO; Maisie Greenawalt, vice president; and Helene York, director of the Bon Appétit Management Company Foundation, will be on hand at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to discuss Bon Appétit’s sourcing practices and philosophies.
Those attending will be able to sample food from several local growers, as well as Kaldi’s coffee.
