Robert L. Walls Sr., communications officer in Protective Services at the School of Medicine, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at his Granite City, Ill., home. He was 53.
Walls was employed with Protective Services for 10 years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Lewis Walls III of Pearblossom, Calif., and James G. Walls of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter Arlena Cayson of Collinsville, Ill.; four grandchildren and brothers and sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Masons.
Funeral services will be held Aug. 13 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
