Campuses to open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2

The severe winter storm that moved through the St. Louis region closed all Washington University campuses except for the School of Medicine from 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31 through 10 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 2.

All classes and events on the Danforth, West, North, South and Tyson campuses will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2. Medical school classes and events will be held all day.

Snow and ice removal continues throughout all campuses; however getting around sidewalks and roadways will be difficult. Please exercise caution.

Those providing essential services are expected to report as assigned. Essential services include Campus Police, Dining Services, and certain personnel in Facilities Planning and Management. There are some departments that, due to the nature of the work, must maintain a minimum staffing level twenty-four (24) hours per day. This determination is made on a departmental basis. Employees will be contacted by their respective managers.

Limited food service operations will be available on the Danforth Campus. Dining services are open from 7:30 a.m. until 2 a.m. in South 40 House and from 8 a.m. until midnight in The Village. Dining services on the rest of the Danforth Campus will be very limited.

Student Health Services appointments for non-emergencies are canceled on the Danforth Campus through Wednesday, Feb. 2. Urgent care will continue to be available.

The Campus Circulator begins operation at noon Wednesday, Feb. 2.

The Campus 2 Home (C2H) shuttle service resumes at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2. Based on local road conditions, door-to-door service may not be possible in some cases.

WUSTL’s Family Learning Center (child care center) will open at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2.
