William “Lacy” Clay (D-Mo.) discuss the roles that citizens, elected leaders and the media play in promoting civility in a democratic society during a forum titled “A Vision of Civility” Feb. 24 in the Knight Center. Carnahan and Emerson are the co-chairs of the Center Aisle Caucus, a forum founded in 2005 to build relationships between members of both parties. The event was sponsored by the Danforth Center on Religion & Politics.
