Brugh in Germanic languages and literatures, after he presented them and 11 other teaching assistants with the Arts & Sciences’ Graduate Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence during an April 25 ceremony in the Danforth University Center. The award recognizes exemplary performance by graduate teaching assistants in the instruction of Arts & Sciences undergraduates. Departments nominate outstanding teaching assistants for the annual award, which includes a $1,500 cash prize and certificate.
