Women’s basketball coach Nancy Fahey has been ­selected a member of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2012. Over a 25-year career, Fahey has led the Bears to five NCAA ­Division III national ­championships and 10 Final Four appearances. Her career win-loss record to date stands at 596-106 (.859), making her the all-time winningest coach in Division III history. Fahey also has one of the best winning percentages in NCAA women’s basketball history. Of her selection, Fahey says: “I am excited, honored and humbled to be recognized by the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Basketball is a team sport, and it truly took a team effort for this to happen.” For more information, visit bearsports.wustl.edu.
