Skandalaris and his wife, Julie, during a celebration of the center’s 10th anniversary Nov. 2 in the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center. The Skandalarises established a program for entrepreneurial studies in the Olin Business School in 2001. The Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies was founded in 2003 with an assist from the Kauffman Foundation when Washington University in St. Louis was selected as one of eight initial Kauffman Campuses. Housed in Simon Hall, the center serves as the hub of entrepreneurial activity on campus, working to build an innovative environment in the seven schools of the university where ideas and people can connect and cause action that changes lives.
