MLA Saturday Seminar rescheduled

Due to an unavoidable conflict, a talk slated for Saturday, Feb. 18, as part of the Master of Liberal Art (MLA) Seminar Series, has been rescheduled.

The talk, “The Works of Mercy,” by Daniel Bornstein, PhD, the Darrow Professor of Catholic Studies and director of the Religious Studies Program in Arts & Sciences, will now take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in January Hall, Room 110.

Now in its 31st year, the Saturday lecture series is sponsored by University College, the adult, evening and continuing education division in Arts & Sciences. All talks are free and open to the public.

During the lecture series, university experts are examining “The Quality of Mercy” from many different perspectives.

The presentation “Shakespeare: The Merciless and the Merciful” by Robert E. Wiltenburg, PhD, dean of University College, will be given as planned at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in January Hall, Room 110.
