University Libraries and the Alumni Association are hosting a “WUSTL Tweets, Tweetup” at 3 p.m. Friday, April 27, in Olin Library’s Ginkgo Reading Room (Level 1).
A tweetup is an in-person networking event for Twitter users to meet their friends/followers in real life.
Attendees have the opportunity to build social and business relationships with other WUSTL tweeters.
Special guest Brad Hogenmiller (@JavaStL, twitter.com/JavaSTL), director of social media for Infuz and president of the St. Louis Social Media Club, will present a short talk at 3:35 p.m. on the importance of Twitter networking for St. Louis professionals.
Refreshments will be provided. Each attendee is asked to bring a food item to be donated to St. Louis Area Foodbank as a part of their Social Media Avengers Campaign.
