A section of Throop Drive that runs in front of Eliot Hall on the north side of the Danforth Campus will close beginning Monday, May 28, for the construction of Knight and Bauer halls for the Olin Business School.

Throop will remain closed to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic until construction is completed in early March 2014.

The closed area of Throop will extend from the east boundary of the Knight Center drop-off area to the east end of McMillan Hall.

The entries to the Millbrook Garage on either side of the closure will remain open, and the garage will remain accessible throughout construction.

Knight and Bauer halls will be built on the site of Eliot Hall, which will be demolished this summer. Offices previously located in Eliot Hall have been relocated to other buildings on campus.

Also closed are the grassy areas and stairs around Eliot Hall between McMillan Hall and the Knight Center. A construction fence marks the closed areas.

Signs will be posted to reroute pedestrians around the construction zone.

Construction will alter St. Louis MetroBus Green Line routes and stops. A map of the rerouted Green Line can be found here.
