Olin Business School MBA student Michael McLaughlin made a triumphant return to campus Oct. 2 after hiking the Appalachian and Ozark trails back to back — a journey of more than 2,500 miles.

The seven-month journey raised awareness and more than $10,000 for abused and neglected children in St. Louis and Africa through the student-run Hike4Kids organization.

Donations still are being accepted at hike4kids.com.
