The free performance, which launches the spring Chamber Music Series, will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Goldberg Formal Lounge.

The program will open with selections from Douglas Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe (1956), followed by excerpts from Carmen (1875) and Rigoletto (1851).

After intermission, the program will continue with selections from The Barber of Seville (1816), La bohème (1896) and My Fair Lady (1956). Rounding out the program will be Cole Porter’s “The Physician” (1933) and two Rodgers and Hammerstein classics, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel (1945) and “Some Enchanted Evening” from South Pacific (1949).

Founded in 2007 by soprano and WUSTL alumna Gina Galati (LA ’96), Winter Opera St. Louis is dedicated to presenting both local artists and world-class talents during the winter months.
