Internship ‘slam’ brings together students and employers

WUSTL students gathered in the Women’s Building Formal Lounge Feb. 22 for an internship “slam,” where employers participated in an “open mic” pitch to students looking for summer internships. The 45-second statements were followed by one-on-one meetings. Above, WUSTL student Samantha Givens talks with WUSTL alumnus Alan Paradise (BS ’83, MIM ’07) of Mercy. Among others, employers included Boeing Co., the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Coolfire Media, Elan Polo, Evetos, Jane Doe Advocacy Center and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
