Leading Together campaign film wins ‘Platinum Best of Show’ Aurora Award

The video for Leading Together: The Campaign for Washington University has won a Platinum Best of Show award at the Fall 2012 Aurora Awards competition in the fundraising category.

The Platinum Best of Show award recognizes outstanding work in the areas of creativity, message effectiveness and technical excellence. The film received the highest possible marks across the categories of execution and creativity. The video was conceived and produced by Tribe Pictures of Chatham, N.J., in collaboration with the Offices of Alumni & Development Programs and Public Affairs at WUSTL. The film is one of five Tribe produced that helped launch the university’s $2.2 billion comprehensive campaign in October.

Tribe worked in tandem with Washington University to create a video able to capture the vitality of innovation, crossdisciplinary engagement and the creation of campus-wide programs that jump-start ideas across departments and schools. The film features the university’s outstanding faculty and talented and diverse undergraduate student body, as well as students from the university’s graduate and professional schools.

The Aurora Awards is an international competition that acknowledges exceptional work in the areas of creativity, quality content and professional execution in film and video. The judging panels are selected from award-winning writers, producers and directors from the United States and abroad.
