Excellence in Leadership Awards recognize students and campus groups

Undergraduate student leaders and student groups who actively demonstrate exemplary leadership, service and commitment to the campus community were recognized during the Excellence in Leadership Awards ceremony, held April 28 in Holmes Lounge, Ridgley Hall.

The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership organized the event.
Washington University in St. Louis community members nominate student leaders or student groups believed to exemplify excellence in leadership. A student group also can apply directly for an award. More than 115 nominations were submitted this year.

Those recognized for Excellence in Leadership have gone above and beyond the expectations of the campus community; consistently proved to be exemplary among the campus community in all aspects of their campus involvement; fostered positive relationships with campus resources/departments and other student organizations; and intentionally pursued the organizations’ ideals through the attainment of established goals and continual reflection and development.
