Guided tours of Gass exhibition June 20, July 19

Join Joel Minor, curator of the Modern Literature Collection/
Manuscripts, for a guided tour of the exhibition William H. Gass: The Soul Inside the Sentence at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 20, or 9 a.m. July 19 in Olin Library.

The group will meet in the Ginkgo Reading Room, Level 1, and the tour will last up to one hour. Gass, PhD, the David L. May Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Humanities at WUSTL, has donated and loaned thousands of manuscripts and other personal items to the Modern Literature Collection over the years, many of which are now on display in the exhibition. Come learn more about the education, World War II experience, writing and teaching career, and other aspects of the life of this legendary writer.

The gallery talks are free and open to the public, but attendance is limited. To reserve a space, call (314) 935-5495 or email spec@wulib.wustl.edu, and specify which talk you will attend.
