Climate change expert to speak at Washington University

This year’s Albert P. and Blanche Y. Greensfelder Lecture is titled “Climate Change and Human Health.” The lecture will be at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Simon Hall, May Auditorium. The speaker is Howard Frumkin, MD, DrPh, dean and professor at the University of Washington School of Public Health.

The lecture is the inaugural event of the recently launched Washington University Climate Change Initiative, which aims to expand scientific research, education and public understanding of global climate change. It’s a signature project of the International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy and Sustainability.
Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton will introduce Frumkin, and a reception will follow the talk. The lecture is free and open to the public.
