Faculty and staff invited to learn “the Dancellor” at Dance Marathon Nov. 9

Annual event raises money for Children's Miracle Network

Dance Marathon Honorary Chair Risa Zwerling Wrighton invites Washington University in St. Louis faculty and staff to join her and Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton on stage to do “the Dancellor” at the 15th annual student-run Dance Marathon.

Dancers can practice the Dancellor at a staff and faculty family reception at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Athletic Complex on the Danforth Campus. Zwerling Wrighton promises that even dancers with two left feet and no rhythm can learn the dance.

The 12-hour benefit for the Children’s Miracle Network kicks off at 2 p.m. Nov. 9. In celebration of the charity event’s 15 years, the Wrightons will donate $15 for every faculty and staff member who attends Dance Marathon.
