Libraries conduct service quality survey

Faculty, staff, students asked to offer input by Oct. 25

Olin Library

The Washington University Libraries invite faculty, staff and students to complete an important survey to evaluate the libraries’ collections, services and facilities. Survey results will guide University Libraries’ planning and decision-making.

The survey will be available online Oct. 7-25 and takes 10-15 minutes to complete. To take the survey, visit library.wustl.edu and click “survey” on the upper right.

“The results of this research allow us to identify needed improvements and to target library resources to meet those needs,” said University Librarian Jeff Trzeciak. “The survey also provides input that will be helpful as the libraries continue the strategic planning process.”

University Libraries conduct a survey every three years. In addition, the libraries periodically conduct focus groups, interviews and meetings with departmental liaisons and campus groups to ensure that library users have opportunities to describe what they need from a premier research library.

To see what respondents indicated was important at the time of the last survey (in 2010) and how the libraries responded, visit here.
