The planned free vehicle inspections scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7, have been canceled due to the weather, the Washington University Police Department announced.
The WU Police and Parking Services, in partnership with Hartmann’s Towing, had planned to offer an inspection service for WUSTL students, faculty and staff from noon-2:30 p.m. Dec. 7 in Millbrook Garage.
But the police department said Hartmann’s Towing won’t be available as workers respond to expected emergencies in the St. Louis area.
However, Hartmann’s offered to provide a free vehicle check for those who plan to drive during the winter break. Hartmann’s staff will check tire pressure, fluid levels, wipers, and head and taillights. To use this service, call Hartmann’s at (314) 721-1445 to schedule. Their facility is located at 6615 Olive Blvd. in University City.
