Weil (left), a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in psychology, in Arts & Sciences, during Washington University in St. Louis’ December degree candidate recognition ceremony Dec. 7 in Graham Chapel. Weil was among 823 students who filed as candidates for 839 degrees. WUSTL trustee Maxine K. Clark, founder of Build-A-Bear Workshop and chair of Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation, delivered remarks to the degree candidates, and Wrighton delivered his annual Chancellor’s Message. The Washington University Chamber Choir performed “America the Beautiful” during the ceremony for the first time. A reception for the roughly 200 degree candidates who attended the ceremony, along with their families, friends, faculty and administrators, followed in the Danforth University Center.
