Dining-Out military event held at Olin

Retired Lt. Gen. George J. Flynn, who served as deputy commandant for combat development and integration for the U.S. Marine Corps, makes a point during his remarks at a Dining-Out event, held April 17 in the Charles F. Knight Executive Education and Conference Center’s Anheuser-Busch Dining Hall. The event was sponsored by the Olin Veterans Association, which helps veteran students and alumni with transitioning successfully into the business world. Dining-Out is a formal military ceremony for members of a company or other unit aimed at fostering camaraderie. The formal dinners, despite their eloquence and etiquette, are designed to allow people to relax and have a good time. There are more than 50 veterans currently enrolled across all programs at Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
