Danforth University Center wins programming award​​

The Association of College Unions International (ACIU) has awarded the Danforth University Center at Washington University in St. Louis the Bernard Pitts Role of the College Union Award in recognition of its DUC Presents series and other outstanding programming.

DUC Presents​ provides grants to a variety of student organizations to host community events. Recent DUC Presents events include a Cultural Expo with Sigma Iota Rho and glow-in-the-dark miniature golf with the Inter-Fraternity Coun​cil and Women’s Panhellenic Association.

The DUC competed against other student unions from ACIU’s Region II, which includes universities in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma and Mexico.
