PB&Joy food drive runs April 2-14

Donations benefit Operation Food Search, which serves 190,000 hungry St. Louisans every month

PB&Joy, the annual Washington University in St. Louis food drive, runs from April 2-14.

Students, faculty and staff members are urged to make a donation to Operation Food Search or to bring nonperishable food items to one of 99 drop-off locations on the Danforth, Medical, North and West campuses. Organizers specifically request kid-friendly foods such as graham crackers, fruit cups and oatmeal. For a complete list of recommended items, visit the PB&Joy website.

Last year, PB&Joy collected 16,908 pounds of food and raised $10,745, enough to feed 36,461 people for a day. For more information and a list of drop-off locations, visit the PB&Joy website.
