Rizwan Romee, MD, assistant professor of medicine, has received a three-year, $200,000 career development award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Romee, who also is a bone marrow transplant specialist at Siteman Cancer Center, is researching proteins and natural killer cells in patients with acute myeloid leukemia in hopes of identifying new immunotherapies.
