Lohman named Biophysical Society Fellow

Lohman

Timothy Lohman, PhD, the Brennecke Professor of Molecular Biophysics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, was named a 2015 Biophysical Society Fellow.

He is recognized for his pioneering biophysical studies of the mechanisms and energetics of protein-DNA interactions, including the enzymology and kinetic mechanisms of DNA helicases and translocases, and single-stranded DNA binding proteins. He was honored at the society’s annual meeting earlier this year.
