BrookingsExecutive Education approved for VA benefits

Veterans may now use GI Bill funding to pursue additional education

For more than 50 years, Brookings Executive Education (BEE) has provided public and private sector leaders with relevant education in support of their professional and personal goals. Many of those leaders are veterans; and it’s now easier than ever for those who have served our country to take BEE courses.

BEE, which is a partnership between the Brookings Institution and Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, was recently approved for extended VA benefits. That means in addition to the Master of Science in Leadership degree, veterans may now use GI Bill funding to pursue a Certificate of Public Leadership, Certificate of Policy Strategy or a Congressional Fellowship.

The new funding was approved Oct. 1. There are currently 225 veterans taking courses through BEE.
