Washington University in St. Louis has been recognized as a bronze level Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists. The university provides amenities such as bicycle parking and shower facilities and encourages riding through initiatives such as Active Transportation Month.
The league granted four-year designations Nov. 5 to 127 colleges and universities across the country as friendly to bicycle riders. For more details, visit the Office of Sustainability website.
