Product Development’s ‘Fairy Godmother’ on Entrepreneurship

Lindsay Hirsch embodies the meaning of “liberal arts.” She graduated Washington University in 2011 with majors in Mandarin Chinese, International Business, and Marketing. A year later, she moved to one of China’s top manufacturing cities, where she identified exemplary suppliers, managed client/supplier relationships, and helped clients through the entire product lifecycle.

These experiences resulted in Lindsay founding her own unique product development company, Wish Upon A Product, which works with its clients to design, manufacture, ship, and market their products cost-effectively while still making sure the products are of the highest quality. Lindsay answered a few questions about starting and running her own company and entrepreneurial motivation.
