At 9:36 a.m., an emergency alert was issued to the Washington University in St. Louis community as an extra precaution after a report of an incident involving gunfire in the vicinity of the university’s North Campus, 700 N. Rosedale Ave. (Skinker north of Delmar), specifically along the Metrolink tracks.
The Washington University and St. Louis Metro Police Departments responded and determined that there was no longer a threat to the university. All members of the university community were cleared to resume normal activity at 9:57 a.m.
