School of Engineering & Applied Science honors distinguished alumni

The School of Engineering & Applied Science celebrated the extraordinary accomplishments of six alumni and a former dean at its annual Alumni Achievement Awards dinner April 7.

The dinner, held at the Missouri History Museum, honored the following:

  • Anna Apanel (BS ’80), Alexander Gray (BS ’79, MS ’81) and Steven Kramer (BS ’82, BS ’82) all received the Alumni Achievement Award.
  • David Karandish (BS ’05) and Chris Sims (BS ’05) received the inaugural Engineering Entrepreneurship Award; John Zook (BS ’04) received the Young Alumni Award.
  • Ralph Quatrano, former dean and Spencer T. Olin Professor at the School of Engineering & Applied Science, was honored with the Dean’s Award.
