All invited to join in PrideFest Parade this weekend

Washington University in St. Louis faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to march in this year’s PrideFest Parade in downtown St. Louis on Sunday, June 26.

University participants should meet at the parade staging area (Eighth and Walnut streets) by 11 a.m. The parade begins at noon along Market Street.

PrideFest’s mission is to foster the general population’s understanding and acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by raising awareness through education programs and events.
