Medical facilities planners complete Mini-Medical School

Fourteen planners and project managers within the Operations and Facilities Management Department (OFMD) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis recently completed Mini-Medical School I. The program, which is offered in three series each spring and fall, showcases the Medical Campus and provides the latest information on diseases, wellness and technological innovation.

Katie Aholt, John Brauer, Patrick Brinker, Paul Duell, Kelsy Haddock, Mark Hume, Avinash Rahurkar, Francisco Saavedra, Scott Schweiger, Paul Sedovic, Emma Snyder, Steve Sobo, Jim Stueber and Ken Zimmerman Jr. completed the program.

This accomplishment is part of an OFMD goal to embrace education and further planners’ and department managers’ understanding of the environments they support. Attendees hear presentations and receive hands-on learning from School of Medicine physicians one night a week for eight weeks.
