Psychology student McDarby wins gerontology award

Meghan McDarby, a graduate student in psychological and brain sciences in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, has been selected for a James McKenney Student Travel Award from the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE).

This award provides travel funds for students to attend the AGHE Annual Meeting and Educational Leadership Conference.

McDarby’s research interests include enhancing end-of-life decision-making and advance-care planning among older adults and improving communication about end-of-life care preferences.
