Eric Galburt, associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biophysics at the School of Medicine, received a new five-year $2.3 million Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award grant from National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for his research titled “Molecular mechanisms of transcription initiation and DNA repair.”
