Philip Skemer, a professor of earth and planetary sciences in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, won a $321,515 grant from the National Science Foundation to support collaborative research titled “Integrating Seismic Anisotropy, Mantle Flow and Rock Deformation in Subduction Zone Settings.”
