The Washington University campus offers a wide variety of eatery options, from coffee and doughnuts to full-scale restaurants. All venues accept cash, though only Ibby’s Bistro in the Danforth University Center accepts credit cards. All buildings can be located on the campus map.

OFF CAMPUS

Just north of the Danforth Campus is the Delmar Loop, a vibrant historic district with more than 120 restaurants, boutiques, specialty shops, galleries and entertainment venues. Home to the St. Louis Walk of Fame, the Loop recently was named one of 10 Great Streets in America by The American Planning Association.

The Central West End, on the eastern edge of Forest Park, features more than 60 restaurants and outdoor cafes as well as 300 shops, galleries and antique stores, all set amongst leafy streets and stunning 19th- and early 20th-century architecture.

Just west of campus is the City of Clayton, the St. Louis County seat and home to several major corporations. The central business district features an eclectic selection of upscale and casual dining alongside galleries, hotels and elegant boutiques.
